You can recover from Narcissistic abuse
Healing After Narcissistic Abuse: You Are Not Alone
Recovering from narcissistic abuse can feel overwhelming. The gaslighting, emotional manipulation, and erosion of self-worth can leave you questioning your reality and struggling to trust again—even yourself. If you’re here reading this, I want you to know something very important: it wasn’t your fault, and healing is possible.
As a counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist based in Geelong, I walk beside women every day who are navigating life after emotionally abusive relationships. I understand the layers of pain and confusion, not just professionally, but personally too. I’ve been there. I know how it feels to slowly rebuild yourself from the inside out.
Narcissistic abuse is unlike any other form of emotional harm. The wounds are invisible but deeply felt. Often, my clients share that they’ve lost their sense of identity—they no longer recognise the woman in the mirror. Through gentle, client-centred counselling and trauma-informed hypnotherapy, we begin the work of reconnecting to your truth, your values, and your sense of self.
Hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool in this process. It allows us to access the subconscious patterns and beliefs that may have formed through years of manipulation and emotional abuse. Together, we gently identify those beliefs —ones that honour your worth, your voice, and your power.
Each session is grounded in compassion. There is no judgement. When we meet in a private, secure telehealth session, your safety and comfort are my priority.
You may still be grieving, or perhaps you’re just beginning to understand what you’ve experienced. Wherever you are on your healing journey, you are not alone. It takes incredible strength to reach out for support, and I am here to walk with you at your pace.
Your life matters, and so does your story.
Kind regards,
